steve if i may suggest...have joe cut the center part you need, that should save on some of the cost to ship and would be a smaller package too! besides that would give joe an excuse to cut something else up

But that would require Joe to have to cut something. He would need to go out and purchase, oh I don't know, something like a sawzall, or a cutting torch, or something. Do you think Joe could handle cutting something up like this???

Oh yes, I deserve the ribbing, as that reputation is well-earned. I regret cutting up a couple of them now, specifically the very solid '73 Sportroof I bought as a package deal with a '72 CJ Formal. At the time, I had the 4 speed Sportroof, so I didn't need another. Happily, I still have it...in pieces. Like Humpty Dumpty, though, it's not easily put back together again.

Hi guys! We are new to this forum, but very excited to become a member and to see so many torinos all over the world!!
This is our beauty. Had it for about 4 years now, couldn't be more in love with it. Model: 1976 Gran Torino Station Wagon Motor: 351M. Transmission: C6 A pain in the ass to get parts for, but well worth the trouble! |

Just after it's first bath, it looked a lot better than it actually was, but I knew that and am up for the challenge. I'vebeen working on removing the rust from all the panels and collecting parts.

Thanks Dan, hoping to be ready for paint in a couple weeks. Trying to make at least one local car show by the end of the season.

Casey, you may want to start up a thread about your car in the Project section...I'm sure plenty of us would love to see your continuing progress.
Also...you can post multiple pics in one post. |

Thanks for the complement on the quarter panel Johnny, I worked really hard on it, cut it off a parts car that I have, so there was even a lot of careful work involved in that, but I'm so happy I went to the effort.

Okay, could not figure out how to move this, so I just started all over in the "project updates" section. Thankfully I hadn't posted too much. Thanks guys for the comments and suggestions, I hope you will visit my other post "75 gran torino "soft" restoration (copper head)" I will be posting all future updates over there.
