Here are some pics of the car outside. Finally got the bumpers and all the windows and everything in. Couple of questions though. Where can I get the clips that hold the door panels on? Where can I get the clips that hold the rear window trim on?
Thanks
Brendan

Thanks for the info guys. I was questionable about the black grille as well, but I am glad that I did it.
Thanks for the compliments.

Door and window clips are Auto Zone/Pep Boys fodder if you need them immediately.

No air shocks, just the stock height. Looks worse than it really is because my driveway is really steep. All the weight is pushing on the front.

Front 225/70/15 15x7 3.5 backspace
Rear 275/60/15 15x8 4.5 backspace

Could have gone a bit larger in the rear, but I had no reference point. So I just went with what seemed to be pretty popular on the forum.

so you think 295/60/15 would have been better? and fit without rubbing?

The width is pretty good as it sits. I think that I could have gone a bit taller though. Maybe a 275/70/15. do not know if that size is available, but I think a little extra height might have been better. I like the tires as they are though. I am sure once my new suspension settles a bit they might fill the well a bit better.

Looks great Brendan!
What are the wheels? I have been debating on Mag 500s or going something more modern. Like they way they look.
Completely confident you will be getting a ton of thumbs up on the road.

The wheels are the summit legend 5 series. I thought they were a good comprimise between budget and looks. Thanks for all the compliments guys. Without all your help the car would not be where it is now. If i could only afford to get the seats done i can finally get rolling.

well with that look right now...

STAY with the rear tires you have!
there is no such animal as a 295/60/15.
295/50 would be wider but look like a go-kart tire with the rear that high in the air.
the 275/60 you have is the tallest tire you can get in a 15 without going to a TRUCK TIRE.

LOOKS great painted BTW!

That is exactly what I was looking for. If you are going to make a muscle car you might as well make it fit the era. I am really glad the color worked out so good. I had never seen that color on an actual car. Just in pics and a few cars at Barrett Jackson. But I went for it and I am really happy with it.
