I lost the link to the original poster, but found the pictures I of the bronze bushing I bought to replace the worn out bushing on my clutch pedal.
I knew Ace Hardware {or any flavor of good hardware store} has a selection of stepped bushings.
I took what was left of the bushing off my car, and went hunting with a spare rod.
Here is the bushing I got for around $4.89 each {bought 2 of them so I have a spare}

This is something I've be meaning to post for other guys running a manual trans.
Biggest thing was having to trim to fit the length of the bushing, but fit like a glove, and saves the clutch rod from being sawed in half during the operation of the clutch.
