Hi Guys,

Can someone tell me how to remove the moulding/ trim from the small window?
I can't get it off Angry
Do I need to remove the headliner inside?

I will post my project soon!

Mike

Are you refering to the windowfelt molding that rubs against the glass? It may have some black screws burried in the felt and the rest is clips that slide into slots on the quarter lip.usually these need replacing so I just pry them up with a putty scraper and look careful for screws that are holding them

I think he is talking about the heavier chrome trim that wraps down from the door gutter trim.
After you remove the roof rail channel, there are a couple of screws behind the fuzzies. You will need to remove those then you should have access.

Well as seeing he has 72 formal from the photo it has the operational quarter window which is same as the 73.the thin chrome edge should all be part of the windowfelt moldingN and the formal doesn't have the wide driprail molding that wraps around the quarter glass like the Sportroof does. The formal roof driprail molding ends at the top.Now if it is a vinyl roof car it has a chrome molding but it is about a inch or so away from the edge of the quarter glass opening and not sure if that has T-bolt clips or studs with plastic clips.Mine are still on the car but the formal roof doesn't have the 3/4 wide molding around the glass like sportroof and only has the window felt molding and the chrome edge is usally all part of it
