this car was just full of parts  looked like the car puked up everything.   nuthing was labled nuts and bolts everywhere.   most of the stuff i can tell what is is.      there are some stuff i just cant tell.

i know these are probably shifter linkages.    how can i tell what exactly they are for?     it is possible they could be for a 4speed set up   or possibly a c6/c4 set up.

Neither one of those is a kickdown, IMO. IMO, floor shifter rods, between the shifter and the transmission, for a C4/C6/FMX (not sure of which kind from a picture).

I also think you have doubles.

scuff em' off with a scotchbrite pad and I think you'll find some part #'s,most shift rods had them.

thanks guys,  floor shifter rods makes sense,    as the car appeared to be set up for a floor shifter and had been in the process of converting to a 4 speed.     ill see about cleaning them up with a scotchbrite pad later this week and see if i can find a part number to better try to id them.

i know they aren't doubles  bc they are two different shapes.    maybe for two different transmission types?

yes there is a C4/FMX version and a C6 version. The same would apply to the shifters.
