minus the Cragars, looking at the outside your car looks alot like a 72 Q code 4spd GTS I painted back in 1985.It was originally red but was wrecked and after the body shop I worked at had replaced the front clip and done any necessary repairs to the rest of the body it was my job to do the paint job and change the color to Blue Metallic. It was my idea to paint the front of the scoop Black to accent the scoop opening. Now today I see it done alot on 72 Gran Torino's with the Sport hoods.
Not sure if I was the first to do it but back in 1985,but i'm sure I was one of the first as it usually was painted body color

Very nice. I love the blue and the cragars. I bet it is fun driving the GTS over there. People here in Louisville don't even know what they are, I can't imagine many people over there knowing. But they will after you roar past.

The car looks sweet!! Seems like the Spring in Norway is a month ahead of what we have here, must be the presence of the Golf currentSmile.
I like the factory style steering wheel more. Enjoy the ride!

Thanks for all nice feedback here. Smile

But I have a problem with the flashing light and buzzer light, seems like there's a loose connection since it works sometimes. Someone here who knows what it is, and what part needs replacing?

And where can I buy a new light switch? Must replace that switch also.

Thanks.

the Cragars look good with the spinners on your car
also keep the Ford Sport wheel it's much better then that Grant

I see you have the 73 Sport trunk flipper on your car.Your stealing all my ideas's from my thread,LOL

that car reminds me so much of the 72 that got me into Gran Torino's,maybe a few shades different on the blue but really close and I painted the scoop black when I repainted the car.
Another one of my ideas and that goes all the way back to 1985 so I might have been one of the
few that may have started the black scoop insert who knows?
All the others back in the day were body color,I thought the black set off the scoop with the blue metallic paint and must have been right as someone did that with your car.

Do you have a link on the rear view mirror?? as I like it and need one so maybe to return the favor I will steal an idea from your car,LOL

headlight switches are on ebay all the time I see them in my search unless I check the used box so i don't have to look at all the new stuff for Gran Torino's

buzzer?? that sounds like the seatbelt buzzer,if so just disconnect the wire leading to the seatbelt recoil and it won't go off anymore
