This is a Torino that I see every year at a local show. I have not meet the owner but if I do I would encourage him to join the forum. Would be nice to see the restoration of this beauty. The interior of the car is all red leather.

I'm partial to those wheels . I also take back what I said about installing wheels larger than 18's on these cars. That car looks just MEAN. Loving that look...hmmm...my wagon...hmmm

That car kinda reminds me of a photochop someone over on the HAMB did for me:

While these wheels seem to have a bit of a 50s-60s vibe, they still seem to work on a Gran Torino.

I have a set of the 17's like that on my '72 Squire. Great, timeless-looking wheel (in my opinion).

Pics of the Squire with both 17 inch Bullits and the Salts are under the 429 Squire Project Thread. I've been tossing back and forth wheels between keeping the Salts (17 X 8/17 X 9.5) on it and a staggered set of 17 X 8 and 18 X 9 Bullits I recently bought. With the correct tires and rake, they both make even a brown wagon look awesome, LOL.

Thanks - nice build thread. I'll have to set aside some time to read through it more depth. BTW, I really like it with the 17s with the 275/60s.
