Had a mechanic buddy of mine over troday to help me check out the front end of the Eltee. Tie rods/ball joints fine, but there was play by the pitman arm inside the steering box. He said it was past adjusting and needs a box. I'm unfamiliar with this area...are boxes available? How hard is it to change 'em out?
Thanks for any sugestions!

Easy, just heavy. Same box as a Torino. Flip through the 72-76 section on the steering coupler stories.
Advance Auto sells a bolt in 3.5:1 turn box (4:1 is stock) for $180 something + core. You'll need to buy or rent a pitman arm puller to do it.
