By "blasted" are you referring to a process like Extrude Honing?

Here's a better pic with the headers. My cheap-but-works solution was I tweaked the line with a large screwdriver. Sleepy You can see where the line 'was'. 



Jet-Hot doesn't do so well daily driven for 13+ years.

ya, my headers (on that side at least) sit a bit higher up in the engine bay and almost interfere with the uca. Looks like that header from your cylinder 7 is about 1/2 lower than mine.  I will probably modify my mounts a little bit when I get my new motor build ready to go in.   I don't know, I may be crazy for worrying about my lines. To figure out how much the radiant heat actually transmits to the fluid it's self, in the line, would require so much freaking math. I just find it easier to re-rout it way out of harms way while I am doing it in the first place.

Will have pix of the new setup by the end of the week hopefully.

Forgot, that car had Crites mounts... 

The entire engine sat a bit lower in the engine bay.
