1984.

My first car traded for a bass amplifier. The upper valance was pushed in and it was off the road because I had my first Mustang on the road.

It was originally red with vinyl top, not sure what it came from the factory with on the roof but the kid I traded with sold it for $3k a couple years later.

Looking at a bunch of images of different Chevelles...Looks like the side fender badge matches closely with the Malibu.
