Cool Pictures. I love "Then/Now" shots. Looks like something happened to the windshield and right roof post? Or is that just the angle? Edited by Uante - 03-April-2019 at 3:13PM |

You know, I said 35 years apart, but actually it was more than that. Homer's truck was in the background (neighbor that bought a new truck every couple of years) so that vintage picture was taken in the late 1970's. I'd guess the pictures are more like 40 years apart.
Yes, the right A pillar is damaged from a tree. I am going to try to straighten it, but if it is too damaged, I'll just cut it out and replace it. Edited by unlovedford - 04-April-2019 at 7:26AM |

My first gts. Pic from 1983 after I traded it. Originally red with white vinyl roof and bench. All white interior except the dash. It was blue whan I traded it. I just took pics of my car in the same spot at the church where the other pic was taken. |

Yeah, it used to be a place where you could lay on the lawn and stare at the stars, whisper sweet nothings to your gal, and on a hot summer day take a dip to cool off.
All the people feeding the geese and ducks killed the grass and now it is wood chips and weeds so thick you can't get to the water with a machete. Edited by handsofstone - 05-April-2019 at 10:29AM |

We had a 73 Mark IV when I was a teenager.
My dad spray bombed the engine in a nice coat of Ford Blue. Looked good until the car was stolen and recovered after a high speed chase into Rhode Island. The engine was shot. The guys at the garage were pissed about the paint because all the vacuum lines are color coded. Oops. I did the registry road test to get my license in it. Three point turn on a skinny side road gave me white knuckles. |
