Kinda thought so too. The front bumper looks a lot like mine used to look and you can almost see the rear is 72/73ish.

Like other said, it's a '73 Base model Torino. The 1974 base models used that same front end/grille too, but in 1974 it had the bigger rear bumpers and new taillights like the 1974 Gran Torinos.  This one looks like it has the 1973 style rear bumper.

The red side marker light just visible on the rear quarter makes it a 73’, that light was eliminated when the 74’ taillights were introduced

My first part time job was stockboy/delivery driver at Dashers Drug Store in Wyandotte, MI back in 1982. I like this vintage photo with the ‘73 parked out front 👍

That’s funny, cuz yes, you’re right. That’s because the building shown is the National Air and Space Museum, not the National Gallery of Art that the caption says.......

The National Gallery of Art is across the mall from the building shown in the picture......and I don’t believe the
Enola Gay or any other large famous planes are hanging in the gallery of Art!! Lol

Never saw the lower type with description. I just know the building from having been in there.

When I started this thread I was a freshman in high school and we all had Chromebooks. There were a lot of times when I was bored, finished my work early, lunchtime, etc. and I was just looking at Flickr, blogs, basically anywhere I could find old photos.
