Yeah, and someone left a bag of tools in the front seat too...

Bumper wasnt too bad. Someone put a trailer hitch on it so it was tweaked some. I managed to get a few parts off it but someone already took the axle, rear sway bar, gauges cluster and bezel and a few other things.

How near is this Ranchero to you?  Any chance you can get that trim piece above the glove box door for me?  If it's at a reasonable price, and in decent shape?

Its near by. I didn't get it because its busted up. The tabs were broken off and the mounting studs broke. It is the engine turned finish too..

Ok.  Thanks.  I've already got a decent one.  But figured I could use an extra, if it was in decent shape.  I'm converting my '79 Tbird to the engine turned finish.  I'm also looking for the smaller engine turned trim surround pieces, on each side of the steering column.  The one that surrounds the heater controls, and the one that surrounds the radio.  I can't tell from the pics if those were there and in decent condition.

Dash pad was cracked and split in a couple areas.
Can't recall if engine turned pieces on each side of the column were there. Are they glued on the backside? Or how are they removed if there and decent?
Seat actually was good. Didn't see any rips but a seat does not ship well $$$$ if someone wanted it.

I would be interested in the arm rests if there. I'd like to find some non sun bleached seat belts in that color too but i see those are like mine, faded out.

As far as I know, the engine turned pieces are held on by screws, up under the upper part of the dash.  I'm not sure what else holds it on.  Here's a pic of an NOS one, as an example.  I've never tried to remove one, so I'm not 100% sure what all is involved.

ITS PRBABLY THE SAME AS THOSE WITH THE WOODGRAIN.  TABS THAT STICK THROUGH SLOTS IN THE DASH AND ARE BENT OVER ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE DASH.

This 1974 Elite looks quite intact for a totaled car. A 460 according to the VIN.
