Diamond Jubilee cars were 1978.

ahh ok. Those era birds rode so damn nice, loved some of the kooky editions they had. I remember the Bill Blass Lincolns LOL

Yeah, that T-top car looks fairly mediocre as far as options (with exception of the T-tops).  I don't see power windows, cruise, sport cluster, etc.  You could add T-tops to just about any 78-79 T-bird, regardless of options.

If it's like bringing cars into Canada you need a broker to do the paperwork. Might not be too expensive. It'd be worth looking into if you're seriously considering buying.

I'd love to have it for the roof for my LTD II Sport. Cant afford it right now to many irons in the fire. If someone buys it sell me the roof complete!

Salvage can be for a number of reasons...for example if a car is stolen and the owner is paid off for it's value and then the car turns back up, or if it's totalled and the owner buys the car back and fixes it, it will have a salvage title.

Are these cars available to the public to buy?

I bought my jeep from copart, paid $1,050 for the car, and about $650 for the transaction fee. Be aware of the buyer's fee rate, it can be either fix or a percentage of the price.
My car had a clean title, just a rod stuck out of the block.

It depends on the state.  I'm assuming it's governed by state law.  On copart's website, they have a map of the US, showing which states allow public buyers, and which require a broker.

Definitely investigate the fees.  You have to pay a fee to join ($200 I think).  Then, you have to pay a fee for the car that you win.  For my '79 Cougar, my winning bid was $250.  I had to pay another $250 in fees (and taxes maybe), so my drive-out was $500.

That just looks like a trunk flipper with its insert missing.

Man Josh, you're killing me with all of the Tbirds and Rancheros you're finding up there.  I can't find anything decent in the yards around here.  Suggestion.  Those 15" steel wheels are getting harder and harder to find.  Down here, we can get $100 for a set of decent ones.  May not be the same up there?  And probably not worth it on Ebay, with shipping and everything.  Figured I'd mention it.

What's the condition of the emblem on the header panel of that Tbird?  Text me with a pic and price, next time you're out there.

Yeah, I was in a bind for a set recently.  Needed some on short notice.  I couldn't find a set locally anywhere.  Steelies from 80s - 90s Crown Vics did the trick for me, but aren't quite correct.

I had no problem getting $100 for a nice set of 4 that came off of my Montego wagon, a couple of years ago.

I hardly ever see vehicles from the 70s in the local yards so I can imagine its tough to find a set when you're in a bind. I see them going for around 25-50 each on ebay depending on condition.

Square panthers use the same wheels, 92 up start more backspace, and lose the nubs for dog dish caps at some point...

I have five or six in my yard. Looks like six. Clean metal. No bead rot. No nubs in center area of rim, so they must be nineties crown vic or mercury marquis.
