That one would make a nice project car. GT interior looks rough but all there.

I went to the Pull a Part on the South side of Atlanta today, looking for parts for my truck, and our Chrysler 300's.  The last time I had looked on their website, there were no 70s model Fords or Mercs, so I wasn't expecting to have "fun".  But, much to my surprise, they had a '78 T-Top T-bird.  Fairly loaded, with power windows and seats, cornering lights, sport cluster, etc.  And such a shame, it was obviously in very decent condition before it showed up here.  Very restorable.  I found the HTF interior trim pieces that mine was missing.  I also grabbed the T-tops to have as spares.  And I got the Sport cluster, intermittent wiper switch, and found a decent driver's side turn signal lens in the trunk.  It must have been an extra.  Most of these have a lot of cracking, and spider webbing, but this one was pretty clear, so I grabbed, it.

Or an Archie Bunker voice....
But turn it into "Cacamongo".

Then Edith would try to correct him, and Archie would say "Stifle it, Dingbat!"

If you go back anytime soon, can you see if the owners plaque is still on the dash?  If it is, could you grab it and the "Heritage" badges off the roof?  I'd much appreciate it.  Mine went the way of the dodo.Cry

Thanks!

A couple of yard finds. Blue Cougar and the 72 Mark both had fires. The red cougar interior was the home to some busy squirrels for a couple years.

One more find this summer. Pretty picked over Ranchero.
And a little tease with the 73 GT. My father found tucked away. The guy isn't selling ,.. yet anyway.
