Boy, it really hurts to see them like that. Did you notice the maroon GT wagon that had the green Pontiac on top of it? Roof was crushed down, but the side rear 1/4 glass was still intact!!

There were a lot of nice looking salvage cars here online in NJ after Sandy. But then Sandy cars started showing up in the u=pull-its. And then you realize that nothing, and I mean NOTHING is savable on those cars. Maybe sheet metal. But even then, sand and salt into every nook and cranny. And interiors? Forget it. The rank smell of a closed-up seawater soggy car is enough to back you right away.

I'd buy that wagon (location?)in a minute...and yes, I did see all those '67-'68 Cougars going to waste.

I've built several water salvage cars, but all in fresh water. Great results with all of them. Never done a salty, though.

By the late 70's all cars and trucks sold in Canada had metric gauges.....and still do to this very day.
