The passenger side rear quarter panel right on the corner is crinkled pretty bad. Has anyone ever ran across fixing something like this?

You can fix anything.
Depending on what that edge looks like you might have to tack weld some sheet metal so you pull the edge straight. Fortunately that sheet metal is thick enough to tolerate shrinking it with a torch. That's a job for an old school metal guy (or chick, but they are like unicorns).

honestly, that damage would be better off cutting out a patch panel(the whole corner) from a donor car.
That part is usually pretty good on our cars.
Remove the damaged piece and weld in the replacement.
2 good things here... 1. alot of the welding is in places you can hide as it is not on the outside. 2. That sheet metal will handle the welding heat pretty good as was said, so an amateur with welding skills could do it.

GO FOR IT!

when you say that part is usually pretty good on "our cars" what do you mean by our cars? cars the people here have to sell? I wish there was a way to get just that corner patch panel without having to but the whole car.

Will any early '70 model torino fit mine? There is a salvage yard local to me and any car there he will sell for 300.00 regardless of condition. I work with a couple guys that run in demolition derby and they get their cars there. They got a mustang fox body there before that was a complete car with motor and trans and it ran they got it for 300.00. I'm going to call him tomorrow and see if he has any Torinos.

Not a 1970-71 Torino. A 72-73 formal, sportroof, or 4 door should work.

What I meant by that was
generally that part of the car is not rotted, can be cut off a car at the junkyards for cheap.

72-73 ONLY for that piece, Formal roof or 4dr only as well

None of the yards around me except 1 have any Torinos. And the one that does is almost completely stripped and gutted. He says I can't go cutting on the car I have to buy the whole car and for 500.00 that's a little more than I can afford for one patch panel. Anyone have any ideas or know what I may be able to do to get this piece?

I have that piece on a 1/4 panel that I could cut off in a couple of weeks. Where in KY are you located, as I sometimes go through there on business trips.
