Smile Finally got to turn some wrenches today. As I posted last year, I was having fuel issues with the old girl. She would start and run like s##+@  then stall. I got her to run off a gas can. So I had a little free time today & changed out the fuel sender/pick up, in the tank. I didn't have a '73 unit, but had a couple '74 units laying around. They looked brand new, compared to the  one removed. Damn ethanol. I cleared the fuel line with shop air, & replaced the rubber hose ends too. I was also able to take her around the neighbor hood, to round out the tires.(felt like they were square) Ran pretty good.

I hope to go through the brakes & bleed them, & if I feel ambitious, install  my other steering box. If I get that ambitious the tilt column too.

Does your new sender have the filter sock on it?

Yeah, the spare sender from my '74 had a good, solid sock on it.
