Hi Guys
I have a 72 351CJ engine with the original carb. Does anyone know what connects the choke stove pipe to the carb and where? Im referring to the pipe that is directed toward the back of the engine. I would post a pic but I have a hard time getting pictures to this site. Thanks |

the ones i recall seeing, like you described, look like a tranny cooler line, thread onto the choke module on the right side of the carb, and connected to the exhaust manifold. (if i remember correctly)
as far as posting pics: go to how to post pics at the top of the forums, scroll down towards the bottom, and use the tomi method, it work for me! |

Factory carb has this plastic piece on back side.
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures showing the tubes installed! I'll have to pull out the original pieces from the cougar and snap a picture. |

Hi Mike
Thanks for the picture. I have a metal tube that faces the rear of the block that is connected to the stove piece. I saw in another post that it looks like it should connect to that plastic looking l shaped fitting at the rear top of your carb. I would think it would be a metal tube that connects to that because of the heat from the stove. Any idea what the tube would be called or where to find? Thanks,Steve |

NPD sells the tubes. the one that comes from the stove and goes towards the back connects to the plastic piece with a piece of vacuum line.

nobody has the plastic piece. I think its made of unobtanium. If I happen across a good used one i snatch it up. Nothing as of late.
