does anybody know if there is real difference between '72 and 73-74 power brake booster? '72 externally looks little bit different than 73-74 - but is it a real differnece in mounting points etc?
72 look like this: http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/aaz-54-73400/overview/year/1972/make/ford/model/gran-torino
73-74 is slightly differen, but lugging pattern look the same:

has anybody experience with this?

I see rock auto and others show some different boosters. 72, pre 75, post 75, etc. my understanding has always been there is the super popular single diaphragm large diameter booster and the rare (mostly station wagon 75/76) smaller diameter dual diaphragm booster.

What could the differences be on the single diaphragm boosters? Prob really minimal I would imagine.
