looks like the earlier models had the same problem, my 74 was worse than that, i took mine apart and repaired it correctly

'68/'69 will do it too. This is just one part I took out of a very badly wrecked '70 429CJ car. It also was resting on the floor in a open cattle field for 23 years without any glass at all and had been shot up by kids I guess. I don't believe cowl repair would have helped.
