Can anyone tell me what the dimension should be for stock rear leaf springs measured along the arch from front hole to rear hole? Also the dimension from the hole in the frame for the spring front to the hole in the frame for the spring rear? I measured from frame hole to frame hole and get approx. 56-1/2" I purchased new springs that measure 58" along the arch from hole to hole. With the shackle, I'm guessing that would be around 57"+/-. I can't seem to get the springs to compress enough to install. The supplier swears the springs are the correct length. Trying to confirm.
Thanks, Lee

1. Leaf Spring Length - Measuring from the center of the front bolt hole to the center of the rear bolt hole while allowing the tape to lay on the contour of the spring is approximately 57-1/2".
2. Frame Holes - Approximately 58" Lee, have you taken the top mount bolt of the shackle loose at the frame. This will allow play in order to get that spring lined up at the rear?
