I'm changing my manual steering to power steering on my 68 Cyclone.Does anyone know if there is any other type of power steering system that will replace the original setup?I've been told that the original is notorious for leaking fluid even with a rebuild.

Borgeson power steering conversions, http://www.borgeson.com/xcart/catalog/19681971_Ford_Torino_Gran_Torino-orderby_0-p-1-c-123.html Several people on the Torino Cobra forum, http://www.torinocobra.com/forum/ , have used this and like it. It is what I am planning
on doing this winter. |

Yeah, I think HOT ROD Magazine is going to convert their 1968 "Raunchero" from Roadkill with a Borgeson unit.

not overly familiar with the early torinos, but i'm assuming they had that power assist cylinder on the drag link? (that's "tractor" technology IMO) i checked out that link you posted bill, nice find! i see they also make a conversion for my vette as it uses that cylinder system good info to know!
