    Posted: 20-September-2014 at 5:28AM
Hi all,

this morning started bad. Drunken teenagers ( i heard them passing through the street in the night) broke my rear window, Nothing missing, just broken the glass. Try finding one here in the Netherlands   ConfusedConfused.....

So i would like to know if anyone knows a nice example around. If i cant find one overhere, we will be doing some business.

And does a LTD window fit too? From 73 to 78?

Regards, Coen

That really sucks. Best lf luck on your search, as that'll be hard to find. It might be a good idea for every wagon owner to keep a stock pile of extra rear glass/rear side glass, an extra tailgate, etc.

No, the '73 to '78 LTD rear glass will not fit. I am sorry to hear about your loss. I fixed the links for you below.

no email, it's a private wrecking yard about 50 miles from me, in the neighboring state of oregon, the guy is in his late 70's, i would have to go there BTW i'd have to take my 4wheel drive to get up in there, there are a few pics of the place i posted in the beginning of the junkyard photo thread

Hi John,

Discovery Channel could make a programm out of it to rescue that window ;)

If I really cantfind one easier I remember this one, go on a expidition with just a screwdriver and a 13mm socket wrench.

I made a provisional one yesterday night, from only 2mm acryl, too thin but it fits and keeps the hole shut. Once you have the holefixation pattern at the bottom it a straightforward job.

Regards

According to my auto glass replacement software DB04733GTN is no defrost and fits 72-76 Torino and Montego 77-79 LTD II and 77 Cougar Wagon.

DB04835GTN is with defrost and fits 73-76 Torino/Montego 77-79 LTDII and 77 Cougar wagon

It doesn't appear that I can get one through my suppliers.

The 2nd one probably fits a '72, but rear defrost was a new option in '73.
