She's a 1971 Torino GT with the optional 351 cleveland 4V. It was built Aug. of '70 at the Atlanta assembly plant. Its all original from the engine to the 44 yr old sun baked/deteriorated interior. The car has been in my best friends family since it was new so I know a little history on it. It was running fine when parked but sadly that was in 1995. Some of the panels have been repainted but the stripes were not replaced. I can see the "tape lines" at the edge of the decals. Original colors are Medium Ivy Green Metallic with Medium Green vinyl interior. It doesn't have a lot options. I really wish it had A/C, tach, and the hideaway headlamps. Some bondo work has been done at some point to the rear pass quarter and rusted behind it but it's not rusted through. The lower section of the drivers quarter is gone the rear drivers corner took a small lick.

Welcome and that is a great car and starting point.

It's much easier to work with a complete car than one that's in pieces and/or missing a lot.

Lol! I think the reason the back seat looks so good is that it was full of trash that I had to clean out. I've been doing a little browsing and it looks like the dash pad will be my set back on the interior. Could find any except one on eBay that was WWWAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY   out of my price range.

Nice looking car.  I was down in your neck of the woods the last 2 weeks in October.  Uncle in Greenville, daughter and g-son in Summerville, and a g-daughter in Charleston going to College if Charleston.  I sure miss SC...   Unhappy
