Hey guys just thought I'd write something up say Hi...
Been a member for a long time just work, life, the usual. I dropped off the face of the earth here. After only contributing little bits here and there, while hopefully not being too critical. But every time I have an issue the wealth of knowledge here is where I wind up, whether directly or eventually via google, so I think its time for me to get active around here. Anyway the goods... Edit Wow the rest of my post disappeared... 73 Formal roof, 351C "H", Weiand/650, HEI...Starsky & Hutch paint, mags, etc. The daily driver a.k.a. the money pit. Still on the waiting list for a new arm and leg after the head rebuild... And a shorter description of my yellow 72 Formal roof 460/C6 swap...yellow on the outside black on the inside. Project needs a lot of time invested. Pics soon maybe Edited by GranTorinslo - 26-November-2014 at 8:15PM |

I've had the 73 probably about 7-8 years now, a case of love at first sight. I thought I knew what to look for in an older car, and overlooked several things like the leaky rear window because I was a little inexperienced. But it is still my baby...
It was originally a vinyl top I bought it in stock trim with the starsky paint covering all the bad stuff. I have done all the standard things like timing chain, 4 barrel, exhaust, valve seats, removable Grant wheel. Probably need to do the rear end before I do body, but looks amazing from 20' at all but one angle. Edit:The 72, somewhat as it sits now, hood is on though Edited by GranTorinslo - 27-November-2014 at 7:48PM |
