Does anyone know if the front signal lenses from a 78 T-Bird will fit a 78 Ranchero?

I am not sure if they will fit, but there is a 1979 ranchero being parted out. And those front signal lenses (from the 1979) should almost definetely fit. To see it Click Here.

No, the thunderbird lenses definetely will not fit the ranchero. There is a picture below of a 78 ranchero.

The T-bird lights won't fit "correctly in a Ranchero/LTD II front clip/header panel. The 77-79 Ranchero/LTD II turn signal lights/housings are getting very hard to find, with no aftermarket replacements available. If you find a Ranchero/LTD II in a wrecking yard get the things that have no aftermarket support, heck get all you can while you can. Good luck, Todd

I agree with aquartlow. There is a picture below of a 78 thunderbird. Notice how it has different lenses than the ranchero.

I can see the difference. Those wider hideaway headlights forced the lights to be narrower.
I will be hitting the wrecking yards.
Thanks, Jamie |
