Where do you guys buy sheet metal? I can only find small patch pieces and preformed body parts.

If you are going to weld the sheet metal onto your car, then it would be best to use a sheet metal that has the same exact thickness (gauge size), as the metal that you are going to weld onto.

it looks like the thinnest gauge they have is 16 ga. which is fine but a little thick. and stay away from galvanized, you can use it but you need to grind off the thin layer of zinc back about an inch, to be able to weld on it. FYI
