    Posted: 17-November-2015 at 1:11PM
Hello,
My passenger side side view mirror glass jumps aroundand it does not stay in place, is there any way to tighten the glass so it doesn't move around, since it's so loose?
if not, I guess I have to buy a new side view mirror right?

Tighten it down until it snaps and then back it off a half turn!

tilt the glass and look in behind there, there is a screw in there that holds that assembly into the housing. or is yours a passenger side remote? not sure about those

Hey what are you talking about John? Are you talking about the mirror? Yeah I see those are all the time on eBay, but I was hoping to just fix the mirror.

or, Take the knob/lever out of the mounting hole. Put a zip-tie around the 3 cables up near the lever (where they are separate, right before the lever) and pull it tight so it pulls the 3 cables/housings together. It worked for me, but the mirror is still too damn small.
