No, the blower is not the same and some of the vents are different.

You will also need the switch box from an A/C car. In the picture below, the A/C switch box is on the left side and the non-A/C switch box is on the right side.

Location of the blower is different. Heater core is diff. too. A big project if done to be factory correct. Less of a chore if aftermarket system is used, but not cheap.

If you are going to do it to be factory correct, then you will need the A/C vent box, the blower motor housing, the heater core housing and vents from an A/C car. There is a picture below of some of these parts.

In the picture below, you can see how the dash parts from a non-A/C car below are different from the A/C dash parts above.

I took the factory air out of my 77 Cougar. I have most of the parts you'd need. Let me know if you're interested. Email me at mlachance112785@yahoo.com  I'll probably respond faster that way.

If you decide that you are going to install the A/C, then you will also have to cut a large hole in the firewall to install the evaporator case housing. In the picture below the car owner had removed the A/C from this car and he had to install the large piece of white sheet metal to cover the large hole where the evaporator case housing was located.

With all you so called "expurts" on this site I'm surprised nobody suggested
the only solution that makes any sense.
You're welcome by the way.
