Not yet. As of now I'm curious if they're different and if they are what is different.I still need to find a 351. Not easy to find for some reason here in Virginia Beach.

its even harder finding a decent engine where I am!
But you need the correct brackets for the application unless you buy a conversion style kit with the serpentine belt or billet brackets

Ok I guess that's what I needed to know.
I have zero ford knowledge, all Chevy. what about a later model, say an F250 with a serpentine. Will all that fit between the wells? The ac would have to be adapted of course.

possibly....not really sure, I'm into big blocks and no creature comforts. Don't even have a heater in mine....just PAS and an alternator
What I can tell you though is the 429 brackets are different to the 351 brackets and the 302 brackets will be different again

I'm interested if you have some.
which ones are different? I'm assuming a/c and alternator are different?

302 brackets MAY fit on a 351W.
Depends on year and options. the only difference is deck height. Some years had brackets with extra holes. Some had a big main plate to mount everything on. others have half-a-dozen or more small brackets. (take a picture before disassembling) |
