Wanted to introduce myself I have always been a Ford guy. I traded a motorcycle for my Daily Driver, a 1973 Mercury Montego. My other classic Ford is a 1971 Ford F100 with a mild built 390. Look Forward to talking shop and learning from you all.

Thanks Everyone,
Ranchero Fan, yeah it is nice in that area. I am looking over that direction for a little more acreage once I retire out of the military. I have been looking through the site, lots of good information here. I forgot to say anything about myself, I have been in the Army now for 18 years and a couple months. Currently stationed in Korea but hopefully am home in 10 months. My goal for the Montego, is a paint job, (has some surface rust issues), and maybe a transplant or a rebuild of the 400m that is in it now. I am in the process of researching now so when I get home I can get hot and heavy on the project. I am currently trying to read ahead so I am not asking questions that have already been discussed.

Looks like you have a solid platform to start with. Check out Bubba's 351/400 sticky thread here on the site. Good luck with your project, be safe over there & thanks for your service.
