Hello y'all. I'm new to this forum thing. I just recently purchased two 1968 Torino gt for a restoration project for my son. So far all is going well with the project, except for the hood. I cannot seem to find a replacement. I was wondering if a hood from similar year or similar make would work, ranchero, fair lane. This is my first project car. I know that there will be many questions coming up. Thank you.

1968-69 Fairlane, Torino, Ranchero are the same, I have one I will sell with a factory '69 Cobra Jet scoop, and the hood lip molding, located in Pittsburgh PA. 1968's did not have the scoop as an option, but many were added. I have a lot of misc parts, let me know what you need.
Fastback? Engine?
Full factory restoration or custom?
What color interior, bench or bucket seats?
Welcome to the forum!

We are sticking with the original seats just adding some new vinyl. We are also sticking with the original 390 engine. I am very interested in the hood, that sounds great. We are not doing an off frame restoration but we are replacing a lot of old with newer parts. My son wants it to be a dark maroon, burgundy with the hood and Torino stripe a gloss black. If I can figure out how to post pics here I will show ya where we are. I do have some on facebook under Chadwick Sides. Thanks for the reply.

Hi there... I am looking for a 1969 original Ford Torino Hood. It doesn't need the scoop. If you could let me know if you have one, or where I may find one, it would be greatly appreciated.
