So hardly any of my tail lights work and are corroded enough that they don't spring right. I have ordered pigtail and understand wiring it, but unsure just how to remove and reattach new one to housing.

Not a scam. I recently got new pigtails tac welded into old housings. So that's good. Now on to charging issues.
