Edelbrock -Will fit under the hood. -Cannot use same air cleaner.-Of course your tires will wear out faster.

Do you have a picture of it? Is it similar to the 4V choke stove assembly? I'm running an Edelbrock on the engine I just fired Monday and I believe I have the choke stove assemble sitting in a box, on a shelf, next to the car.

I managed to find a manual choke today, of all things! My panic to find a solution is... soothed. The last car with a manual choke I drove was my mother's 1985 Honda wagon with the 3-speed Hondamatic transmission. That goes back a ways...
The part that rusted out looks like this: Given that the Edelbrock intake / carb fits under the hood, I think that's the direction I'm going to go longer term. What kind of air cleaner housing fits on top of the Edelbrock carb? Different filters, too? Edited by Canuck - 07-September-2016 at 11:48AM |

Is it just the tubes that rusted out? they press in and can be made from steel brake/fuel type tubing.

I think I still have the original from my car, came off a 70 mustang with 351c 2v. I sand blasted it but never used it. Let me know if you are interested and I'll dig. Just cover shipping and it's yours.
