Tim is starting production with the alloy* block and will also produce a cast iron** block later
* the alloy in tim's block has never been used to produce any aftermarket engine block ** Tim will likely also spec a superior material for the 'cast iron' block, possibly CGI

Very cool, thanks for the updates. Too bad this is way out of my reach (pricewise) but I do plan on buying most of my engine stuff through Tim. |

I've not seen mention anywhere of a satisfied customer / successful build of an MME Titus block & i haven't had my eyes closed, if you're aware of such an instance i know several people that would be interested. here's a current Titus build thread, the block won't accept a crank http://www.the351cforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=856 and i hate to pile on but they've had a terrible go down under with more than several builds that ate themselves on the dyno due to incorrect machining Edited by Rockatansky - 05-November-2016 at 3:40PM |

WOW! After looking at some of the feedback they are having a tough time with that. I think it was Todd Buttermoor that started that IIRC. good to see someone else is making them now.

Tim Meyer was able to take the stalled project off Tod Buttermore's hands after a failed 'partnership' with MME, then all of a sudden Titus pops up & fast-tracks to market. maybe too fast as we can see from how long it takes to do it right, maybe trying to do too many things inside one engine block. last i heard MME lost the shop but i can't see from here, web pages are down ... yeah for sure. i wish i knew more of the back story on the block in the thread i linked to above, it seems to have been pulled in the middle of machining ... i personally wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole for several reasons
Good News! the Buttermore / Meyer Project Pushes Forward as Track Boss
