I found out a new issue that only comes with high rpm.
After I keep the revs over 6500 for a while, I loose power steering. Not right away, it takes usually 2-3 minutes. Somehow, all the fluid seems to push out of the pump, partially through the high pressure line and I haven't really looked where the rest goes.

Just wondering if it is a common issue for high rpm (usually rev to 7500-8000).

i would guess you're experiencing pump cavitation

simple fix is to slow down the pump by different diameter pulleys,
like Ford did with cars that came equipped with high numerical rear gears

modern hi-tech fix is to use a street rod electric power steering column

I thought about a bigger pulley, not sure about availability though. I shall look into it,

Isn't manual steering almost 5 turns lock to lock?  just replaced my stock box by a Lares 841 but I would not mine trading it, I don't really like it.
