Is there anything that would help cold starts? Electronic ignition? Bigger intake with a better carb for more fuel and air delivery for better spark?

How about a "working" choke.

Yeah, It's a Hybrid...It burns gas and tires.

there is a choke but it's an "automatic" choke and engages when the gas pedal is pushed.

Yes. It takes me about 5 times to get it to turn over. I usually pump the gas twice and then hold it about half way on the first time I try to start it.

there was some recent discussion on here about that... sounds like the fuel is draining back out of the carb??? mine takes a bit of cranking after it's sat for a week or two??? if it's started within a few days it starts fine??????

I daily drive the car. Drive it to work everyday. My work is like 10min away so it's not a far drive. But drives good once it starts. The past couple of days it has been hard to start in the colder morning. And I would like to fix the problem as soon as I can
