Hello everyone. I have created this message in behalf of my brother. He has a 69 Torino. He converted rear drum to disc brakes. Now since the conversion his brakes lockup when he attempts to brake rendering the car undriveable. He has tried everything and no luck.

sounds like he has too much pressure going to them. like he has the lines crossed at the master, bad prop valve or a crimp/clog somewhere preventing the fluid from returning quickly when you release the pedal.

did he use a disc/disc prop valve? the drum one won't be right! could be the master cylinder lines are switched going to the prop valve! generally the rear fitting on the master goes to the front (front brakes) on the prop valve
some stuff to check into for now.... |
