Anyone know offhand if the steering wheel splines are dog toothed or not? Or can I pull the wheel and change it's location slightly?

There should be one odd spline, so it fits on only one way.
Some of the older ones have a flat spot to align with. (or, I may have it backwards)

the one I have now is splined all the way around, no flat spot.

On my 72 same spline all the way around. I must have moved it 5x before I got it right

Yep, no offset tooth on my 75. Was able to move it slightly to center the wheel :).
