Anyone know where to buy a new set of 1-3/4" longtube headers for the '72-'76 Gran Torino with a 302? I'm building a stout 347 stroker for my '72 Sport and don't see anything other than wimpy 1-5/8" primary sizes. Surely somebody makes a man size header tube, no?
Thx, - Wayne K Liberty, SC |

WELCOME to the Family.
Not much built for our cars. With a 302 I have used the stock 5.0 Mustang headers and they fit. So if you got a set of the fox body shorties or MAYBE the long tubes they might work as well.

Hooker Headers 6124HKR are supposed to work, and fit a 351W. Any reason they wouldn't fit a 302?
EDIT: Never mind, they're 1 5/8" tubing. Edited by n2fordwagons - 09-January-2017 at 2:06AM |
