Has anyone used a sending unit from Dearborn classics? I put one in put 8 gala in the tank and it shows 1/8 tank. Could this possibly be right I haven't filled it all the way yet?

I know this isn't any help but.... When I put a new tank and sender in the 75, the sender reads empty after 16-17 gallons even though it's a 26 gallon tank. That's pretty close to what you're seeing with 8 gallons in the tank. There's definitely something up with some of these senders.

From what I have heard and/or read, the newer  senders do not have the same ohm resistance within the same sweep of the float arm as compared to the original senders. I had/have the same issue, I tweaked (bent) my float arm to "better" suit my dash's fuel gauge readings.

Yeah, It's a Hybrid...It burns gas and tires.

I bent it a little but I don't want to screw it up.
