searched forum and not finding results if anyone has installed the T56 6speed yet.
would love to know if this is possible....

First rule of the hot rodder, anythings possible.  I contacted American Powertrain a few years ago about putting a manual setup in my Town Landau.  They have all the pieces, full instructions, even include the trans, pressure plate, etc...but it was EXPENSIVE.  Like, north of 6 grand expensive.  I'll see if I can't find My original estimate.

I'm saving for it, I hope to get it all done by the end of the year. I'll be installing a close ratio unit.

I am not sure if T56 is you're only option, but there are members who have swapped a Tremec T5.  I don't know of anyone who's done a T56 yet.

I love a 5 or 6 speed. I'm installing a 5 speed into the red '72 wagon, but after driving my Dodge Cummins with a 6 speed, I gotta say that extra gear sure spreads the torque out more evenly.
