Hey guys, I have had my new-to-me 1973 gran torino wagon for about 3 months now so I figure'd I better get on the forum. My name is John Croll, but I usually go by Jack. My step dad bid on the car on ebay about 4 or 5 years ago when he was at a party with some friends. In the morning he woke up with a slight hangover and a gran torino. He sadly passed away a year later and since then the car has been passed down to me as I seem to be the only one in the family with a genuine interest in cars. The odometer reads a little over 42,000 but is probably 142,000 lol. My step-dad did pay to get the interior done while he was still alive but yet is still splitting in some places but overall really nice. I've put in new shocks, did a coolant flush, oil change and filter, air filter, brake pads and fluid. Oh and it has the starsky and hutch paintjob with some american racing salt flat specials too. 351c with the 3 speed auto but besides that I don't know too much yet as i'm shifting my focus from new import cars to old domestic but its really growing on me. Besides cars I also like raising cichlids, longboarding, and skiing. looking forward to meeting you guys Big smile

Best regards, Jack Croll

Welcome Jack.  Sorry to hear about your step dad.  Sounds like the Torino wagon you have is pretty cool.
We'd love to see pics, here's a how to thread if you need help:
