was the throttle bracket for the 351c 4v/cj different then the 351c 2v? can you use the 1973 351c 2v bracket on a factory 1973 4v intake and have things open and close 100%?

I talked a guy into selling me one off a 73 4v intake but want to make sure its not the same as a 2v bracket as i have a few of those layin around.

Hey Smog, hope it's not too late.  According to the Master Parts Catalog there is only one throttle bracket listing for the 1973 351C.

D3AZ 9728-A

So it should be the same.  Hope you get the intake.

Thanks, saved me from buying somethin I don't need then. I thought I read someplace that the 4v bracket was specific but the parts catalog doesn't lie. I have a couple sets of heads/intakes/ex manifolds/carbs/egr spacers/air cleaners now, enough to put 2 all original cars together so I can hopefully one day run the 4 spd base model formal roof and my wife run the fastback at the pure stock drags, at least thats the intentions.

supposedly the carb pad location is different on various factory intakes, that would create a need for different brackets and cables. IIRC the 73 Q code has the carb pad rearward compared to others placing the primaries close to or in the same place as a 2bbl ...
