SKF are $5 more each at Summit, but wondering which is really better, if there is even a difference?
Thanks,
Russ

idk SKF are good but timken are too

i think i'd go with timken for the rear axle
i did on my original rear end but swapped to the lincoln disc later it used different style bearings
i went with timkens on my 4x4 blazer because i read that they were the best available for that as those are a non serviceable hub style Confused

Thanks.
I just ordered the Timken ones. If for no other reason than I used to drive by the factory in Ohio fairly often. And your recommendation. Clap
Seems both are about the same, so might as well save $10.

yeah why not. SKF does make bearings for most anything and they are good quality! i only buy skf for any of my tools like sanders, etc.

FWIW,
I second what CJ said, both are very good bearings and you can't really go wrong with either choice. If you do choose Timken, do not be surprised to find Koyo brand bearings in the box, which are said to be as good or better than Timken.
