Front: https://www.dearbornclassics.com/ranchero-torino-front-door-panels-standard-1972-1976.html

Rear: https://www.dearbornclassics.com/torino-rear-side-panels-formal-roof-1972-1976.html

Both sold as pairs, from either Dearborn Classics or MAC's Antique Auto Parts.

Keep your old panels and remove trim to place on new panels. Also BC these reproduction panels don't fit as well as the factory ones, so some modification may be needed. Maybe someone else who's bought these panels can chime in and let you know what they've done to get them to fit?

Regards,
Mike

Sounds like some interesting calls. Something like this?
You - "Hi, I'm calling about the door panels for Torinos…"
Them - "Yeah, we sell them, but they suck. Don't waste your money."
You - "Thanks for the warning."
"What we do in full frontal view, is more honest than your cleaned-up mind."

Sorry for the delay in response.... Auto Krafters were the best in explaining why they wouldnt fit. They told me it was because of the arm rest. The said if your arm rest measures 10 1/2 inches total length. they would fit. The gran torinos measures 14 1/2 inches total because of the plastic base behind it. So the hole were the door handles align are is wrong.  Also they said you would need to change the back panels as well because the stitching will not match

Where did they recommend getting new door panels from? I'm looking to replace all 4 panels in my'76 Gran Torino and was going to get the set from Dearborn Classics...

They did not recommend anybody because the said they have the largest data base of suppliers. So basically you need to go to a upholsterer

A buddy of mine got his from Dearborn Classics....

and he said the only thing he had to do was reuse the steel upper backer panels from his original trim panels... no mention of arm rest issues.

Here are the panels offered by Distinctive Industries (http://distinctiveindustries.com/) for the 72-73 (thru 76) Torino...

the twin chrome bands are factory for the 72-73 Torino but not correct for the 74-76 Gran Torino. A bit of custom work and they could be made to appear OEM.

I believe these are the panels all the Ford aftermarket suppliers sell....

Contacted Ron Miller at AutoKrafters about the issue with the Distinctive Industries 72-76 door & rear trim panels and he said the problem is NOT QUALITY but delivery... there is a 6-8 delivery backlog at DI. Ron said they aren't taking orders right now until the backlog is caught up, but with Covid, that may be never! Cry

I have purchased them from AutoKrafters as well.  Fit fine, look good.   The only thing they dont really tell you is the upper part of your old panel has to be used with the new ones.  Takes a little time but it can be done with some patience.  I think I have an extra seat in the box, black, if someone needs them ASAP.  Like I said though you need the old panel for the upper metal piece.

Shane, can you post a clearer (and larger) photo of the door panel itself and also a close up of the horizontal trim? Did you also replace your rear seat side trim panels as well?

THANKS

Hi Joe,

I can do that for you.  The new panels that I have in the box are at my shop.  I will be back there on Saturday.
They look nice and match well.
The rear ones are the original panels.

So the door panels are MIA.  I am not sure where they are at the moment.
I will keep looking for them.  Sorry thought they were at the shop.
