Here are a few of my future projects.
The 71 Ranchero will be finished this year.
The 63 Galaxie is the next project when the Ranchero is done.
The 70 Torino 429 CJ will be done next as it needs the least amount of work.
The 2013 Boss 302 was y daily driver.

Nice cars!  Thumbs Up  Pretty cool to have the matching Ranchero and Torino.  Those early 60's Galaxies are really cool too.

I just sold the Boss and will use the money on my other projects.
A guy just offered me to much money for it
I am thinking about buying a new GT 350 if I can find one for the right price.

This GT350's are really nice.  The flat plane cranks makes those engines sing a sweet song!  You'll have to post some pics if you get one.

Yes they are.
I am an old time drag racer and I all ways wanted to install a flat plane crank in a 427 SOHC engine.
Should make about 900 HP with a Carb.

Is the '63 a fastback or formal roof? And any chance is has the tilt-away column?

Hi
The 63 is a 2 Door sedan. I bought it from the second owner. It has 22,000 + miles on it.
The reason it has so few miles is it has been a drag car from the beginning. I pulled the roll bar out of it and removed the trunk mounted battery tray and some of the other stuff for the drags.
The only rust I could find on it is a 1x3 inch spot under the driver's seat and a 1x 1 spot where the battery mount was.
This does not have the swing away steering wheel. It was a stripped down race car. No radio- heater etc. bench seat, column shifter.
The funny thing to me is he ordered it with a 289, ford o matic, and a posi type rear end [at least that is the rear end in it now].
I have known this car since the 60's but never saw it race at the track. He mostly did street racing. The only thing I know is that when he was street racing it did not have a 289 in it, It was just to fast.

FWIU the flat plane crank becomes more & more unsustainable as the engine gets bigger

i think in a small engine the crank itself is the rotating mass and stabilizes itself as a dynamo with the pistons & rods of insignificant weight not causing issues. much larger piston / rod assy's invert the ratio between rotating centrifugal mass and reciprocating mass with no ability to control vibration harmonics etc ...

some say the Ford 5.0 flat plane is already over the line as far as that goes
