My late Father gave me this when my grandfather was killed. My grandfather was quite the shade tree mechanic. When my Dad picked up his father's tools he gave me many which I have in boxes scattered around my basement and storage places. The jack was always dependable and I used it even though the wheel bearings  on a caster fell out. The wheels were frozen from being submerged whenever we had a heavy rainstorm. Well, after months of waiting, it is home again. Only this time it will not see the rain again.

Almost brings tears to my eyes. They definitely don't make them like they used to.

Nice work John! Did you have to rebuild the hydraulic cylinder?

Yes. All seals and springs replaced.
I saved the original casters  in case I ever have no project and want to give myself headaches.
