    Posted: 12-August-2019 at 6:52AM
Hi,

I am looking for a stock wiring kit for my 1976 Gran Torino. Anyone know of any brands out there to look into? I know Painless Performance carries a kit that has all/most wires longer than stock length and you have to cut/splice pretty much every wire to fit. I've found www.kwikwire.com, anyone have experience using their kits?

Or any other recommendation that anyone has is super helpful! I know a lot of the big name vendors don't have anything available for Torino's. My Gran Torino is base, not sport. So the instrument cluster has a clock, but no tach.

Thanks!
Mike

I have used Ron Francis wiring for years, they have very nice kits and if you follow the directions you will have no problems.
All of these kits require installing the ends on the wire. Easy to do.
The only company I know of {and I am sure there are others} that will build you an exact copy of the original wiring harness is Narraganset wiring some where in the northeast. You can google them and they will show up.
One thing is you will pay a lot more for a stock wiring harness.
